Hard moves in strength recovery vildeos

Why is it that two of the hardest strength moves are in the recovery workouts?
I am talking pigeon pose and knee to chest

@Stonechat hope you are well. It really gets down to the individual and the level of flexibility you have. In relative terms, those 2 poses are considered to be a relaxation and decompression posture. The pigeon pose does require quite a bit of hip and knee flexibility. If you find them more of a challenge, slow down the movement and be sure these are mastered before advancing to the next level. Your flexibility and breathing patterns will serve you well both in recovery and training.

These are only in recovery. I just end up not doing many and have virtually fling my leg up. Doing slowly is not possible
