Hello, Sufferlandrians.
When a topic allows for a vote and I vote for it, I get a message saying “X votes left” or something like that. How do those votes get refilled?
Have a great day!

On the official Discourse site it states:
- The number of active votes is configurable and defaults to 10.
- If the topic is closed or archived, the votes are released to the users and can be applied to other topics but the vote count on the topic remains.
- If a topic is re-opened or unarchived, the votes are reclaimed and applied back to the users active vote count.
- If a topic reclaims the votes of a user and they go over their limit, they simply need to wait until topics are closed or archived to allow them to vote again.
I am assuming it works the same for us.
So far the „problem“ never came up, to my knowledge.
@Cody.Moore: Cody? Do you have any further insight?
I’ll look into this. No luck yet but I’ll keep checking.
Hello, Sir Cody. I’m out of votes for some reason, and I hadn’t consumed all of them.
I removed one from a topic and it still says none are available. Has something changed?
I’m not sure what happened. I did increase the vote limit now though so hopefully that helps.
