I sure miss Descending!

I rode ISLTA yesterday, and realized how much I miss descending. In true Sufferlandrian agony, I had to push myself on the descents also. I began my childhood riding in Tucson, Az. Mt Lemmon, Saguaro Nat’l Monument East and West, Sabino Canyon, etc. Over the years in Seattle, San Diego w/ Kitchen Ck and Palomar Mtn. Now I live in Delaware, the highest point in the county is 76 feet above sea level. I was never a great climber, but it was sure fun to descend for 10-15 minutes or more and not need to pedal, just reap the reward of the effort from the climb. Unfortunately, the Kickr Bike doesn’t have that feature…yet?

You should get into cyclocross. I “descend” a lot, especially in the first few races of the season. :joy:

I did my first TT of the year yesterday on a ‘hilly’ (rolling) course. It was so windy that at one point I was having to ride at nearly 300W to maintain about 35kph….. whilst going downhill!
