Introducing Wahoo Core and Pro

We’ve updated Wahoo subscriptions so you can choose how much you want from your training data. Whether you just want the essentials or a full roadmap to deeper insights and structured training, we’ve got you covered.

Here is how the new tiers break down:

  • BASE (Included): the essentials to record, track and understand your training, included

  • CORE ($4.99/mo USD): For those who want to dig into their data. Unlocks the advanced analytics you need to better understand your performance.

  • PRO ($17.99/mo USD): If you want to know exactly what to do to get faster, this is for you. Get the full Wahoo training experience, including video structured workouts, premium training plans, and everything in Core.

Head over to the Wahoo website for a full breakdown of what’s included in each plan.

@Helga Being that wahoo is pushing these metrics more (which I am in full support of) I figured I would make a feature request. Is it possible that Wahoo could make some Widgets for iOS that show a quick snapshot of Fitness and Training Capacity on the Home Screen. This would make following these metrics just a little bit easier. I currently do this with my Suunto app (snapshot below) but prefer the Wahoo metrics over Suuntos. Honestly just copying and pasting the tiles from the app Home Screen as widgets would be all that is needed. Thanks!

I would like that too, on Android.

(Also agree the Wahoo numbers are better than Suunto numbers)

If we are paying for more data and this impacts training suggestions, I’d like more integrations with other apps. I use Apple fitness for their workouts too and use it to track running and walks.

I have no idea what this means for my Sufferfest (sorry, WahooX) subscription but if it’s going up I’d like to see a complete picture, not “only the stuff on WahooX”

I agree here, I don’t necessarily need Apple but definitely more ecosystems. For instance, having a connection to push workouts to other ecosystems, like Intervals.icu, would be awesome. I could then do the workouts on my Suunto/Hammerhead or do some no vid workouts on other platforms, like MyWhoosh.

I’ve been a SYSTM X user for a few years. I just noticed in the announcement that there are ‘Daily workout recommendations’!

So how does this work? Are the recommendations based on my fitness status?

Or are they just part of a plan that has been previously set up?

It’s based on Training Capacity and to some extent what workouts you’ve done today. If you go into it you can adjust some sliders to get different recommendations (longer/shorter, harder/easier, etc)

If you are using a plan that has a workout scheduled soon, that workout will appear there. If you aren’t in a plan, or have a gap in your plan (for example, I will intentionally put in a gap when I’m traveling and won’t be able to cycle), then SYSTM will make suggestions.

Where do I look for the suggested workouts. I’m just getting back from traveling. I don’t have any plans in place currently. Just doing workouts that I haven’t done before.

When you first bring up SYSTM, or select “Home” from the menu, the suggestions are there. You might have to scroll down a bit to see them. Below your “Daily metrics” it’ll say “Recommended for you” and have one or two suggestions.
