If you love the ProRides in Wahoo SYSTM, then you’re going to really enjoy this. Cofidis Pro Clara Koppenburg is the star of several ProRides, including Mt. Ventoux and the newly released Tour de Suisse Women’s series.
On this ride, and using Race Radio, Clara and ProRides creator Francois Guguen (me) will discuss her life in the peloton, goals for this season, and what it’s like making a ProRide! The 22k ride will take place on a Magic Road based on one of Clara’s favourite training loops.
NB: Rubber Banded activated so everyone can join, no matter what your fitness level is!
6pm UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) which I prefer to use as the official worldwide time reference.
It will only appear in public once we’ve reached 20 riders.
I’m bummed out. Most of these group rides are getting scheduled during my workday. And I’m not the only one, most in the US will run into the same issue.
I appreciate that Brian and I’m sorry.
This first one is really an experiment.
If the idea is well received then we will look into finding a slot that works best for most people (bearing in mind some riders will often be based in Europe).
Maybe we also look at having rides during the weekend when possible.
Saturday would be great, but getting a general consensus might be the better choice. My schedule is so packed that finding a free time slot is difficult for me, no matter which day is chosen.
Weekends would be great. Since people are all over the globe no time will be perfect. That said, 10AM EST, which is 4 PM in Europe would work for many, although early for the US west coast and bad for Asia. It might work to vary the times so that everyone would get some times that worked.
OK. This sounds cool. I haven’t embraced (or really figured out) RGT yet so maybe this is a good way to get started. It also will fit subbing in for a workout in my current plan. I’ve tried a few “Just Ride” rides successfully. I’ll have to figure out how joining and riding an event works.
Thanks @Mike2 - Appreciate it and glad you enjoyed it.
Not setting ‘Push to talk’ by default might have been my user-error to begin with. Some settings I didn’t get right. Will work on that!
Thank you @Francois-Wahoo for organizing this ride, and to Clara for participating and being so candid!
It was a lot of fun.
RGT on my Apple TV unfortunately lost my Bluetooth sensors for about 7 minutes, and I ended up having to shutdown and restart RGT in order to get the sensors to reconnect. That put me about 4km behind the lead group and I ended up riding mostly alone…
Francois, was rubber-banding enabled for this ride? I noticed that the raiders were very spread out over the course…
