My KICKR V3 connects like a SNAP

Hi all,

A few weeks ago I opened a request with the Wahoo support team, but unfortunately up until now response rates are quite poor and therefore I did not yet get a substantive answer. Let’s try and see if this might be the better way to get answers.

When I am connecting my Wahoo KICKR V3, it suddenly shows as a Wahoo SNAP in all connected apps. Even the picture shown in the Wahoo app is a SNAP, while at the same time I’m looking at a KICKR V3. This results in an unusable KICKR V3, since it’s not able to properly connect and show data like a KICKR should. For example: the 36km/h setup test is almost impossible to finish because 36km/h is unreachable due to the lack of power resistance.

I have checked the labels of the KICKR V3 and based on that the codes match the prerequisites of a KICKR.

Is there someone who has had the same issue or knows how to solve this? I have tried multiple times to reconnect the KICKR by powering off for a longer period of time, but nothing works. Very frustrating situation since I’m currently not able to use the trainer at all..

Thanks in advance!

This screenshot shows the KICKR V3 which someone else in the family uses (and therefore offline now) and the KICKR SNAP which shows up once I enable my own KICKR V3.

@Robin_Dekter what was your support ticket number? I’ll see what I can do.
