This might be a silly question, but here goes. I’m on a Mountain Fondo plan and tomorrow my scheduled rides are:
Provence: Gorges de la Nesque
Extra Shot doesn’t have any coach notes, and it is not automatically reduced in intensity the way this used to happen in the old Sufferfest app. However, in the ride description it says “If you’re doing this at the end of another session (when you’re already fatigued), then dial the intensity down to 85%”.
So, I think I should do it at 85%, right? It’s just a little strange that it’s not automatically dialled down - or does that not happen any more in the new app?
I would agree: Dial down to 85%, it seems to suit the first workout nicely that way.
I suspect there’s been an omission somewhere to give directions on how to complete the workout. It would be worth emailing the minions to check and so it can be clarified. I’d go with dropping it to 85% given the work you’ve already done.
From experience, you should never do Extra Shot. Ever. You will die.
Indeed, the gist of my question is in fact “I don’t really have to do Extra Shot at 100%, do I? Please?”!

I just did Extra Shot as a stand-alone workout (I warmed up with Recovery A). Not the best idea I’ve ever had
