Hi,

Getting back into cyling after supporting the two daughters Travel ball softball. Decided to give Speedplay Power try.

My power meetet is constantly reporting 100% L after coasting. It doesn’t matter I start with the Left or Right pedal. The only time it will report 100% right is if I un-clip the left pedal.

Wahoo Fitness Support has been working with me on this. I just installed the replacement unit and it is behaving the same as the original unit:

Hardware:

- Speedplay Power
- Garmin 850 or Wahoo Fitness app
- Specialized S-Works crank

Below snapshots of a easy short ride which clearly shows the issue.

The 100% does not affect the power data/stastics. It does have a small affect on L/R balance statistics.

Has anyone seen something similar?

This could easily be addressed with a simple update by “ignoring” L/R balance output for the 1st crank revolution after coasting.

Appreciate any input/comment.

Jerome
