As many of you may already know, Wahoo announced that the 2026 Tour would be it’s final tour in that form.

A few of us have begun considering what future events could look like, and we would greatly value feedback from those who know the Tour best (you!) Your input will help us better understand what you value most about the Tour, identify opportunities for improvement, and guide the Davis Phinney Foundation’s planning process moving forward. Timely responses will ensure that we have sufficient time to thoughtfully evaluate the feedback and make the appropriate preparations.

Thank you for sharing your perspective and for your continued support of the Davis Phinney Foundation.

As we all know…
“Nothing is over until we decide it is!” - Bluto Blutarsky, Animal House)

So, demonstrate your Sufferlandrian solidarity and please take 5 minutes to do this survey to help us decide our path forward.

Please click the survey link and submit your responses by August 15 or send written feedback to [teamdpf@dpf.org](mailto:teamdpf@dpf.org).”

I left this note as my last comment on the survey.

Wahoo needs to separate the Tour of Sufferlandria from any tour of wahoolia. Sufferlandrians will ride the tour and fundraise, but Wahoo has done so much damage to the Sufferfest and Sufferlandria, that any tour with wahoo’s name on it will still leave a bitter taste. Why not two tours? One wahoo tour in late fall to encourage moving back indoors, and one ToS right before the spring classics to get people back outdoors. My family has not been directly affected by Parkinson’s, but has suffered through cancer and dementia. Raising funds for them fits right into my charitable donations.

There are still a few more days for you to participate in the online survey regarding the future of the Tour of SUF. Please see the first post in this Topic to find the link. A big thank you to the 90+ Sufferlandrians who have responded so far! Your input is greatly appreciated.

This is a great initiative. The Tour has always been such a massive part of the Sufferlandrian calendar, so it’s good to see proactive planning for the future. I’ll make sure to get my feedback in before the August 15th deadline.
