Volcano climbing plan advice

Hi I’ve just started the volcano climbing plan and noticed on some weekends there are two seasions.
One has a high TSS score the other is a recovery ride.
Which do I do first?

Do the recovery ride second. You’ll need that light load on your legs to work out the fatigue and flush them out.

Thanks. I wasn’t sure if it was a warm up or as you said a warm down to flush the lactic acid. Thanks

There are a few times when they specifically state “do strength first” in the coaches notes. But for the most part, do the harder ride first, then loosen up 2nd to help flush and you should be OK.
