# Wahoo Kickr Core Level Mode

Has anyone ever have the resistance in Level Mode just change? Level stayed at 0 but resistance just went up on its own. Turned it off and back on again and resistance was higher (I can tell by the cadence/power combination of the gear I am using).

Hi and welcome!

The only time I had a situation like that was when multiple devices tried to get control over the trainer. If you have a head unit, phone app, or second piece of software on your computer (like Zwift or so) that are still connected to the trainer, it will do strange things.

Disconnect all that other stuff, and try again.

If that’s not it, I’m out of suggestions, and my last piece of advice would be to contact the minions. They can help you out:
