Hi I need to build up my endurance so was considering doing a 3 week base block.
I live in a very hilly area so is this the best option as I am getting ready for longer group rides now the weather is improving in the UK.

There’s a long term and a short term answer. In the short-term, maybe. In the long term, I’d say no and it’s in fact more likely to improve your power of endurance is a weakness.
For one thing, better substrate utilization improves power at almost every duration, and two, repletion after anaerobic efforts is aerobic.
