If you’re looking for a chamois cream that goes the distance, check out Chamois Butt’r’s new ultra formulation. I just returned from a 5-day, 620-mile tour and can vouch for its being long-lasting even in wet conditions. It doesn’t last quite all day, but certainly 4-5 hours. A reapplication in the afternoon noticeably increased my comfort. It’s a thick ointment rather than a cream. It doesn’t wash off easily, but then, that’s the point!
