I think many of us can relate!
Looking so good, CONGRATS Pal:)
Pure stealth, love it!!!
Until you switch to one of the other bikes that still uses cables
Nope nope nope nope.
What I really love about this bike is the look of the wheels. The entire wheel’s width sorts of like narrows toward to the spoke nipples. Maybe just some kind of visual illusion of some sort?
No, not an optical illusion:
Lightweight Obermayer Evo Disc Wheelset | Sigma Sports
EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS?!?
Holy hell!
I got mine for free…on Zwift … after only 25 times up Alpe du Zwift
Edit: I guess NOT the Obermayers but still…
I’m not even going to try to hide the overwhelming jealousy I am feeling.
Congratulations - that bike is in good hands.
You’re kidding, right?
Well, free virtual wheels.
Got me.
For the absolute tiniest sliver of a second there, I had the thought “man, I NEED to try Zwift”.
Yeh, the acquisition of virtual gear on Zwift never was a draw for me. Except the Tron bike.

EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS
…and multiple that by 4.6x for the cost in Malaysia.
The set of 38mm deep carbon wheels I bought from Elite Wheels (they used to be known as Yuan An) serves me well and that costs me a fraction of the Obermayer wheels.
HUZZAH! Always a good day.
As promised to Sir @Glen.Coutts and actually have been wanting to post a picture or two of my new bike since I got it at the end of April but never did taken the action to do so.
So here it is after 3 months!
The Polygon Helios A8 (mechanical Ultegra Disc)
Have yet to give it a name but it’s either Ashleigh or Lava Ash.

This bike deserves the Knight’s insignia just like my other bike which I did the Quest on.
Congrats Sir!
