Also, if you do that it should be a steady Z3. If you alternate between Z2 and Z4+, your results will be even less optimal.

I always say, everything in moderation, including moderation!
Exactly. The biggest thing to watch out for is over doing your active recovery rides. When it’s time to go easy, go easy so that you can actually recovery. When it’s time to absolutely crush, send it big time on recovered legs and a recharged battery to make optimal gains. And when it’s time get some z3 adaptations, get 'em bud!
