Hi, I bought my first trainer about a year ago. When I first used it, I heard a strange sound, like a jet engine, but I ignored it because the trainer had been working flawlessly for hundreds of miles. Now, after a long break, I remembered the sound and decided to do something about it because it gets very loud when riding at high speeds and can be annoying for other roommates. I searched online to see if it could be the belt rubbing against the plastic cover, but after removing it, I couldn’t see any grooves. After trying to spin the wheel without the cover, I still heard the same sound.
Before I contact support for help, I wanted to ask for your opinion on this sound here on the forum. Does anyone else’s trainer make this sound, or should I be concerned and try to return my Kickr for warranty?
