Just got this refurbished from Wahoo.
They kindly offered to replace it, but said it doesn’t sound out of the ordinary.
Thoughts?
Don’t want to waste if it’s normal.

Is that the fire truck or the jet engine upgrade?
(sorry, I couldn’t help myself).
Lol, I think my first Google was “Wahoo Kickr Core Jet Engine”
My word! One of the best things about the KICKR Core (and the KICKR for that matter) is how quiet they are.
I use a KICKR and my spouse uses a KICKR Core and they are almost completely quiet, with the only sound being from the bike drivetrain when the derailleur is out of adjustment or the chain needs lubricating.
The sound on your video is not normal in my experience, and would make it very difficult to hear any thing else!
Thanks for getting back to me. I will be taking them up on their offer then!
I wound up replacing the bearings on mine after it started sounding like a coffee grinder. It was a challenging repair so if you’re not confident in your mechanical skills a refurbished unit may be a better choice
I think that picture served as the inspiration for “ISLAGIATT”
I did eventually get it back together…and it even works!!!
