I’ve taken up jogging a mile a couple of times this week, as my prostate is still a bit sore from the biopsy. I get my results on Friday.
best suggestion:ask your physician
My urologist just said today that it’s no problem to do all usual activities including cycling. Considering cycling the 60 km to my biopsy appointment (NOT cycling back afterwards though, obvs ).
Thoughts and prayers for your procedure today. I’d suggest getting a ride to and from.
Not sure if your reply was to me, but procedure is not for another month or so… Most importantly after the Tour of Sufferlandria.
Edit: Thanks though!
Ah, I read “today” and tied it to the biopsy. Good plan scheduling it appropriately!
I got my biopsy results, no cancer!
Great news!
YAY! So very happy for you. Now get back on your bike.
Hallelujah brother!
That is great news!
Great news!
Outstanding news!
That’s really good news.
Looks like the University of Heidelberg is staying busy.
Fantastic news!
Great news! That has surely lifted a great weight off your mind.
Awesome, awesome, awesome!!!
That’s great news. I’m sure it’s a load off your shoulders.
Hi - in your first post, you said you tested positive to prostate cancer - can you elaborate on what that meant?
Thanks
I had two blood tests. The first was the traditional PSA test, known to have false positives. I had a subsequent blood test which is more specialized, which also indicated cancer.
Here is the message I got from my doctor.
“ This is Dr. Chernoff calling I have the test from about your PSA. Your PSA is elevated and it does have a higher risk on that special test. (the second test). There is no evidence of infection. I do believe I would recommend the prostate biopsy like I discussed. My office will call you to schedule. If you have any questions please call back and I will discuss it further…
