So either supplement #1 or #3? Creatine and caffeine increases risk of kidney damage. So how do we know what’s safe to consume together? Or do we just drink decaf?
@coach.jinger.g with regards to beta alanine, please can you expand to whats the recommendation after the 12 weeks? Should this supplement be cycled? If so, what’s the recommended break between cycles?
YES! The typical recommendation is to cycle ON for 10-12 weeks and then cycle OFF for the same duration.
I used to take pre-workout drinks and they’d make me feel very wired, while my friend barely noticed anything. Even a small amount in the afternoon messes with my sleep, so now I just stick to coffee in the morning. It seems like genetics and personal tolerance make a big difference.
I’ve been trying to stay more consistent with my supplements lately, and tracking them has helped a lot. I came across Menalam, an app that personalizes your vitamins based on your health data and lets you log how you feel with each one. It makes it way easier to figure out what’s working and what’s not.
What is your definition of a supplement?
Something not regulated? Something not taken as a normal part of a diet?
they’re usually designed to provide nutrients that might not be consumed in sufficient quantities, but not to replace a healthy diet and should ideally be used with professional advice
