I could not agree more, this was awesome and very exciting, both as a race and as a development in cycling.
I have to say that having gotten to âknowâ many of the racers through the Sufferfest videos has fueled my excitement for womenâs cycling. So letâs see more womenâs races IRL and on Sufferfest.
I sadly did not get to see as much of the TdFF as Iâd lke, but the highlights I did see were of course superb.
This is pretty strong:
âHer ride is now the most kudoed womenâs ride ever.â - nearly 29k when I looked just now. I got 7 once I think. From my mates.
Iâve been a fan of hers for a while, so this was a great result to see.
In other news was Marianne Vos being disqualified from the Postnord VĂ„rgĂ„rda WestSweden for what sounds like a few seconds of âpuppy pawsâ. Iâm not going to comment on that, but the way she has graciously accepted it is a testament to how much of a legend she really is. Lesser riders would kick up more of a stink over much less (itâs some of the men Iâm looking at hereâŠ).
