We wanted to jump in here because we know many of you saw the Davis Phinney Foundation newsletter, and we want to give clarity directly from our side.
First, a heartfelt thank you for the passion, humour, and commitment you continue to bring to the Tour each year. It’s a huge part of what makes this community unique, and we don’t take that for granted.
Over the past several months, we’ve taken a close look at what it takes to run the Tour well and continue supporting the Davis Phinney Foundation in a meaningful way. In that process, we realized we wouldn’t be able to evolve the Tour this year in the thoughtful way it deserves. So we’ve chosen to run the 2026 Tour in its classic format one final time with the Davis Phinney Foundation, to honour its legacy and give it the celebration it deserves.
What happens beyond 2026 is something that we want to take time to get right. The spirit of Sufferlandria matters and we don’t want to force the next chapter before we have the resources and clarity to do it justice. Going forward, the February monthly challenge will honour Sufferlandria — a chance to embrace the SUF spirit, push your limits, and continue supporting the Davis Phinney Foundation, a partnership that remains deeply meaningful to us.
Thank you again for everything you’ve put into the Tour over the years. We’re grateful for this community, and we’re committed to honouring what it stands for.
