All For One / Inspiration Badge

One way to keep myself focused this winter training season was to try and work on badges whenever there was an opportunity. I finally finished all of the Inspiration workouts today and earned the badge. My final workout was “All For One”, a 1 hour and 40 minute z2 ride and one of the longest workouts in the Inspiration category.

The film accompanying the workout details the story of team GreenEdge, an upstart Australian cycling team. The film focuses on commitment, teamwork and working against the odds to achieve success and it really felt like a perfect fit leading into the TOS next week. There are several stories within the film but two of them were really incredible examples of persistence in overcoming significant injuries to get to the podium. I highly recommend checking out this workout if when the opportunity arises to fit it into your training schedule.

I just rode to this one. No kidding: I laughed, I cried, I cheered. What a great movie!

Agree with all of you, such a nice one. I had no idea about Chaves’ injury, I understand why he’s always smiling in interviews.
I laughed out loud when the bus hit the finish line in Corsica, not because of the crash, but the driver’s reaction :joy:
The story with Fromme was also a big laugh, wtf.
And I knew there had to be Matt Hayman’s win, as a huge fan of butter, it was nice to see more footage.
Oh, and high cadence work was more demanding than expected, great workout!

@Gilles.T Woah - reaching back to an old post but it reminds me that I a need to schedule this workout again. Loved that film and 1.5+ hours is about right for z2 during weekdays.
