Looking for The Suf app on my new AppleTV+ and I can’t find it. I dial it up on my phone and then Mirror it, but adding that step increases screen stutter, etc., right? Am I doing something wrong?
No, you aren’t doing anything wrong. There is no Apple TV version yet so everyone has to do what you are doing. There are rumors of a big update coming in February which I assume is in time for the tour of Sufferlandria, which is rumored to include both Apple TV and Android versions of the Sufferfest app.
All just rumors though.

Thx Martin. Fingers crossed then.
If I get the latest smart TV will the app be accessible on it?
Only if they actually release an apple tv version of it. But yes, if they do release one. I have the 4k tv in anticipation of a release, but in the mean time I am mirroring the app from my ancient ipad.

No, Danny, no ATV or other Smart TV version just yet; much will need to be done with the UI in order to make it more TVOS friendly. I know it’s been in the works (and by works I mean discussed) for some time, now, but I’m guessing SUF/Wahoo just isn’t ready to go there just yet.
That said, enjoy it on your mobile device or just build up a cheap-ish computer to attach to your TV.
FWIW, I use airplay from either my iPhone Xr or my MacBook Air to an AppleTV 4K and it’s pretty seamless. Haven’t noticed any problems with lag or anything.
BINGO!! I do the same as do you, Glenn.Coutts. I get a video “stall” every now and again, but, not ever a real issue. HTH, anthony
Thx guys.
A smart Tv alone will not work with the app. There is no Bluetooth chips in tvs and their processors are not made for the job
In fact the AppleTV app built-in the TV’s does not support adding App Store apps to it, it is only the core Apple TV functionality that it provides. To be able to install App Store apps on Apple TV you need a hardware version.
