Battery drain after update on roam v3

Continuing the discussion from Elemnt Roam 3: battery life drastically reduced after update:

I guess new users can’t reply more than 3 times so I created a new topic

My wahoo computer pushed an update a few weeks ago. It led to a number of issues for which I had to factory reset the unit and the battery drain issue which has never left.

according to the website there was a firmware update (WH49-302141) on April 15 2026. Customer service is only giving me the runaround and won’t address the root issue. I think I’m done with it and will purchase a different computer

Hi Martin,
I share your concern about Wahoo support. They were great in the past, now I think it’s an AI bot responding.

I like their product, from my own experience my batter % is around 38% after 7.5 hours. However, my longest ride only 8h.

Mine took over 80% for about 71/2 hours.
