It would be awesome to be able to configure the SRAM Red/Force bonus buttons so that they can activate the bell on the ACE and Roam 3. I think it’s detremental that we have to take a hand away from the handlebar to „ring“ the bell.

I find the Bell on Roam 3 to be too quiet to grab attention of people walking in front on cycle paths. Instead I use a good quality bike bell. Mine is a Knog Oi bell that sounds like a gong, only 1/2 inch wide so doesn’t take much room on handlebar. Not the cheapest bell approx £12 but works!

This is the single feature I miss most from Garmin. So annoying to have to tap the screen to ring the bell. This seems like it could be solved by allowing one of the physical buttons to ring the bell, maybe with a long press

It would be a fantastic use for the SRAM bonus buttons or Di2 buttons to double back as bell triggers. I like the page navigation support from the buttons, but bell activation solves a real issue - having to move the hand away from handlebars to ring the bell. more often than not prefer to announce “on your left” than ringing the bell right now.
