Bolt v2, model WFCC5, showing jumping values for actual and total elevation, VAM, grade. Both with firmware WA55-17081 and actual version WA55-18001. A factory reset did not fix that issue and it does not roll back firmware either. To illustrate: where other computers showed 600 m of total elevation gain for a tour, the Bolt v2 counted 1130 m, which was running in parallel on same tour, meaning exact same conditions. 600 m is undoubtedly correct, tour ridden not for the first time either. Also, with the Bolt v2 quietly on a desk, values for elevation are jumping, values for grade and VAM are shown.
Any suggestions on how to fix that behaviour of a v2 Bolt? Or how to manually roll back firmware to original version?
Wahoo will not support/replace because purchased as a used device.
