Disappearing Workout History

I’ve been tracking and noting how many Sufferfest I’ve completed and had reached 46/55 … but today randomly it’s dropped back to 40/55!!

I can definitely find a few sufferfest workouts in the library which I know I’ve done which now have no history of me having completed them??

Is something wrong or have they been updated … help!!

Looks like the videos have been remastered … shame that means losing my workout histories and progress towards awards though!!!

Maybe it’s something wrong with newly remastered vids. I did Primer this morning and looked at View Activity History from the workout in my Calendar and only this morning’s ride showed!

When I search for Primers via Progress/History, I finds all 16 times I’ve ridden it.

All the remastered vids are also unchecked on my All the Suf badge too.

You could compare your history with your checked progress then ask the minions to award your badge once you’ve ridden everything. They did that for me when Kunanyi didn’t register as complete for Tanzania. They don’t seem to change individual workouts, just badges for some reason.

Paging @rupert to explain what’s happening :folded_hands:

Thanks @Glen.Coutts, hopefully they can correct the history of the workouts.

It appears in remastering the videos, the app is treating them as entirely new workouts with no history of performance and they’ve been lost from the progress awards.

Seems a real shame when the workouts themselves haven’t actually changed!

For actual badge acquisition, iirc, it will still have been registered as having been done, even though the :white_check_mark: is missing. For example, I have the All Sufferfest badge but if I click on details in the awards section, it says I’ve got 48/55 completed.

I think it has something to do with internally coded ID tags for the vids, where remastered vids get new ID #s. But, whether you’ll have to ride the remastered vids again, if you don’t have a badge, is a question for @rupert. How you’d keep track of stuff when there seems to be a lot of remastering lately, and we’re not being notified until after the fact, is beyond me and would require a separate spreadsheet and extra vigilance. Sounds like a fun time hey?! Nothing must dull the suffering :smiling_face_with_horns:

Thanks for the tag @Glen.Coutts and that is correct for the new ID’s so if you want to see previous history you can do this like @Cheryl.Vasan suggested by searching the name of the workout in your history.

If the badge has not been achieved yet, all the workouts on the list must be checked off.
If you have already earned a badge, right now it is not possible to ‘un-earn’ a badge so it will stay marked as completed but you may see you are still missing a few workouts if changes were made / new workouts added since you achieved the badge.

@Rupert I understand you are stating the facts of how everything functions … but does it seem a reasonable design that when you are working your way towards a badge with 55 workouts needed that you suddenly lose a whole bunch because the videos have been changed??

I will bring this feedback back to the team. It is similar to if a new video is added to the library it gets added to the list, these workouts have new videos.

I don’t remember this being an issue when Recharger was remastered. Looking at the History for that ride, I see entries all the way back to near when I started using SYSTM. Am I remembering correctly that Recharger was remastered a couple of years ago?
