Sir James, agree on HRV. I have been using HRV4Training for years. Just another tool in my Arsenal. I’ve also gotten pretty good at calling out my score in the AM. If it’s ever way off what I expect, I take it again and 9/10 times it rereads to what I thought it was at. If it’s ever directionally off after that second reading, I take that pretty seriously and reassess my internal feeling.

I totally agree - I know that as I get -20 TSB I start to feel flat, need more warm up to feel good and struggle to hit numbers.

When I hit a -20 TSB, I get a warning to take a recovery day. That’s after a weekend of serious beating and outrunning the Lazer Goats.
