Hi Everyone,
I hope that someone is able to help me with an issue while trying to import a .fit file.
I have a roam v2, about a year old which is completely uptodate. In terms of phone i have a pixel 8 with android 16 which is also completely uptodate.
When trying to import a .fit file in the element app i follow the steps given by the app (also in the image below). I tried it with multiple files to see if the issue might be with file.
which basically translates to:
“ How to load a gpx or tcx on the element
- Select a .fit, .gpx, .tcx file from a website, email attachment, dropbox folder, etc.
- tap the file, select “open in”
- select “copy to Element”

Sadly no matter what i tried i keep getting the following error: “Importeren is mislukt: slecht GPX/TCX-bestand” translates to: “Import failed: bad GPX/TCX file”
I tried reinstalling the app, i tried reconnecting my roam v2, i tried a factory reset of the roam v2.
I did notice there are several apps (like trainingspeak) which will directly load .fit files into the element app but I would prefer to also be able to directly load in a .fit file if I get send one.
Was also not able to find any usefull information online so far and not found anything that works which brought me here.
