Hi, I’ve just completed the Atlas Mountain Race on my bike in 7 days. it created a rather large file. The sync via the app failed, and since the August 5 update, it’s no longer possible to export the FIT files via USB-C when connecting it to a computer. I’d like to know if there’s any way to retrieve the FIT file or a solution to force the sync, given that the activity does show up in the device history but won’t upload to the app.

Yes, it’s very unfortunate that you can’t get to the file via USB anymore.
I see the wifi icon is on - is the ELEMNT connected to Wi-Fi or is it just looking for it?
The ELEMNT will auto upload to the Wahoo cloud without the app via Wi-Fi. If the ELEMNT isn’t connected to Wi-Fi now, I would try that. The good thing now is that you can have multiple Wi-Fi settings saved, unlike the older units.

Thanks a lot for your help, unfortunately it doesn’t work. I’ll contact wahoo support and if no solution to get the fit file will just give them back the GPS. I love the Wahoo element ace but it’s always the same story with large files the sync fail 
before i used to extract via USB …
