Unable to upload GPX on Elemnt app via Iphone

Hi all,

I am having an issue when trying to upload gpx files from my iphone to the Elemnt app.

I usually receive my gpx files via email, whatsapp or direct download from an internet page and when opening the file or trying to share it, the Elemnt app used to be “suggested” as an app to open/read the file, and i could easily transfer it and it appeared in my routes. Now it is not the case anymore.

I have tried to delete / re-install the app but nothing changes.

I was looking in the iphone settings / elemnt settings what apps could be open gpx file but couldn’t find anything.

For some reasons, I am not having this issue with FIT files.

If that can help, I am on the latest iOS 18.1.

Has anyone encountered this issue before?

Hi Quentin,

I was having the same issue this morning. Running an older iOS (17.1) and re-installed the app as well. Nothing really seemed to work.

Did you find a solution for this yet?

Hi Thijs,

I believe I was too on iOS 17.1. Ultimately, I upgraded to the latest iOS 18.0 and it has solved the issue. But I can’t explain why and how…

Doing this should solve it!
