I haven’t done full frontal for some time, but in the past had a shift profile that worked well for me on the sustained 20min effort. I do have a shift profile that matches the gearing on my road bike. Does anyone have a custom gear profile to share to get the most out of the full frontal sustained 20min effort in level mode for the KICKR Bike?
Trying to avoid upshifts/downshifts around a power level thats slightly too easy / too hard.
from memory, I think I was using a shift profile that matched a compact road cassette instead of a wider range 11-34T and then played around with different level modes between 1-2
I change my virtual gearing to a 1 tooth step cassette with the exception of the lowest couple of gears (which are usually just used during the warmup).
I also turn off the power display so I’m not chasing watts during the test.

Thanks Chris, I setup a 2x12s with a custom cassette profile like you described and will give this a try before full frontal.
