Hi folks.
Question… is there a possible incompatibility or possible communication interference coming from my 4iii power meter (crank-installed) and Rouvy? I’m trying to figure out why the power shown on screen varies sooooo much when on flats or going down. Ex. yesterday’s group ride (as a leader), watts were ok for the first 30 minutes (going up) but then, the last 30 min., it was showing as low as 45 to 60 watts even if I was pushing certainly at least 150 to 175. Actual numbers here are irrelevant, the difference is. It must come from some factor that I cannot figure out. Group ride experience? Non AR route? Equipment-related?
Help.
Thx.
I have a 4iii which I use with my Kickr & Wahoo system rides with no issues. I do sometimes use it just for cadence and let the smart trainer handle watts and sometimes I let it do both. I don’t get any issues.
When using the power crank for watts it does seem to micro adjust more than just the kickr does but it does feel about right in terms of reading.
I did trial Rouvy this time last year and found it very buggy so there might be an issue there.
Only other thought is the painfully obvious ‘change the battery’ but I’m sure you have done that.
Hope it resolves for you.
