Kickr v6: are there sound effects when training?

Hi. Just started using the v6 . Wanted to know if there is a bleep or sound notification that can be set to tell you when to change gear or power etc. On training other than the visual graph? Sometimes i get into the rythm and forget to watch screen.

Are you using SYSTM with your V6? If so, yes there are sound cues for cadence/power changes.you can make sure this is turned on in Settings/ settings / sound effects - on. Then you’ll hear a motorcycle rev for an increase in cadence and a brake screech for a decrease. There’s a starters gun for the start of a sprint and a dinging bell for standing.

@Glen.Coutts answer here is definitive!

Hi. Im using Training Peaks for my training sessions. I didn’t know if the sound effects were in the wahoo training app which is what i use as my TP sessions upload to that software.

They are not.
The sound effects are built into wahoo’s other app, called SYSTM.
While word on the streets of Agonia, are that they are working to combine the two apps into one, doing workouts in the Wahoo App itself will not provide sound effect cues. And, you can’t run the TP workouts in SYSTM.

That said, there are a lot of No-Vid workouts in SYSTM that may be “close enough” to the workouts you’ve got scheduled in TP so it might be worth giving SYSTM a shot. You can get a 2 week free trial pretty much any time and currently, they’re running a promo for a month long subscription for $1.
I’m not sure how long this promo will last but even at it’s regular price, it’s well worth checking out.

I use TP as that’s what my coach uses to set sessions so don’t want to deviate from it currently. I’ll just have to pay more attention and try not to zone out lol.
Thanks.

No problemo. Full disclosure, I don’t work for the company. I’m just a fan of the SYSTM app, despite some of its limitations.
