I feel like I have been sitting back on my laurels. Going to renew my Knighthood. February 15th. Here is my “playlist” so far:
Power Station
14 Vice Grips
A Very Dark Place
Angels
The Hunted
9 Hammers
Revolver
The Downward Spiral
The Way Out
Who Dares
I believe that with the 10 minute rest in between, that is 10 hours and 33 minutes of glorious suffering. I have not finalized that nor do I have the order yet, so I welcome and thoughts and recommendations. I will be doing it as a food drive/fundraiser for my local food bank and if folks here see fit, I would love you to donate to your local food bank. To quote an old State Farm (not necessarily endoresing them, just like the commercial) commercial,”The season of giving comes to an end, the need never does.”
Where I live is small enough we can even skip the food bank in some cases. I will see what I can do in support of your mad repeat, Sir Nyamanchu ! Keep us posted.
Unlike TWO, which was never an eligible vid for a KoS quest, as a KoS you would have access to The Hunted so, you could still do it unless “official” re-recognition is desired/required.
OK, I think I am ready. Have revised the list, contacted my favorite charity (The Bellingham Food Bank) and started the wash so I have clean kits to wear on Sunday.
My new (and approved according to the interweb) list is:
14 Vice Grips
A Very Dark Place
Angels
Do As You’re Told
Nine Hammers
Power Station
Revolver
The Downward Spiral
The Omnium
The Wretched.
It should be a glorius day of suffering. I will let folks know how it goes.
Anyone who pursues this insanity more than once, and in particular, anyone who ends a quest with The Wretched deserves a special place in the castle. After 9ish hours of gruel, the sustained efforts in it would completely trash me.
Well, it’s done! 156 miles, 4600 calories and almost 11 hours of glorious suffering. More importantly, lots of donations to my local food bank and non local folks donated to their food banks.
Now if it were not for those damned laser goats, I could take it easy for a bit.
