Revolver v AVDP and Nine Hammers

I find Revolver relatively easy, it hurts a bit, bit finishing it is never in doubt even when I’m a bit fatigued. AVDP and Nine Hammers I’ve never completed. I think I might just manage on a very good day if I tried really hard… but they’re really really hard for me.

Is this normal?

Yes it is normal. These workouts are designed different and they hit different systems in different ways.

Revolver is always painful. And there are many times I go into it feeling tired and after the first interval I’m trying to figure out how many I will get through before I fail. And yet, I have never failed to finish Revolver. So while it is still quite painful, it just isn’t on the level of 9H and AVDP.


Goddamit, I was hoping it meant I was different and amazing!

Yeah just did AVDP today. Got through, but could barely turn the cranks that last interval.
