Sufferlandians and Wahooligans—Who is the Davis Phinney Foundation anyway?

WHY RIDE WITH THE DAVIS PHINNEY FOUNDATION
Whether you’ve been suffering with us since the early days of the Tour of Sufferlandria or you’ve just discovered The Wahooligan Tour benefiting the Davis Phinney Foundation, we’re thrilled to have you riding with us.

When you clip in for this Tour, you’re doing far more than chasing glory, sweat, and questionable life choices—you’re fueling real impact for people living with Parkinson’s. Every registration and fundraising dollar directly supports programs that help people with Parkinson’s live well today.

ABOUT THE DAVIS PHINNEY FOUNDATION

Founded in 2004 by Olympic medalist and cycling legend Davis Phinney (yes, that Davis from the “Cash Register” workout), the Davis Phinney Foundation exists to turn determination into action for the Parkinson’s community.

Our focus is simple and powerful: provide inspiration, education, and practical tools that help people with Parkinson’s take control of their health and quality of life—right now.

Our community is broad and deeply connected, bringing together people with Parkinson’s, care partners, families, friends, physicians, and allied health professionals—all united by movement, support, and hope.

Our programs include the Victory Summit® Leadership Series, Every Victory Counts® and Care Partner manuals, the Ambassador Leadership Program, and a growing library of bilingual (English and Spanish) educational resources—each designed to empower, educate, and inspire action.

THANK YOU

By riding, fundraising, or donating, you become part of this movement. We hope you ride hard, fundraise boldly, and give it your all—because every pedal stroke matters. HONOR, GLORY, AND VICTORY CAN BE YOURS! (And some cool swag designed by Taylor Phinney too).

It really is an awesome foundation. :yellow_heart: The Davis Phinney Foundation does genuinely life-changing work for people living with Parkinson’s right now! Their focus on helping people live well through education, movement, community, and practical tools is huge. From resources for newly diagnosed folks to support for care partners and programs that keep people active and empowered, the impact they’re making is very real and very human.

It’s hard not to feel proud riding or fundraising when you know it’s backing something this meaningful. And let’s be honest… those incentives are pretty kick-ass too :fire::grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Amazing gear and the chance to support a foundation that’s truly improving lives?

And now the countdown is officially on!

The training plan kicks off Monday, and it’s just over a month until the real deal. Plenty of time to get prepped, dig deep, and line up for the Tour knowing every hard effort is going toward something that truly matters. Let’s go! :flexed_biceps::fire:
