Tos stage 1 - open! - official thread

Have a good one!!!

Where is the live stream? I cannot seem to find the link…

Hopefully the video will still be available tomorrow (Sunday UK) for some entertainment after 9:hammer::hammer:

I had the same thing. Lobed day one of the tour.

I sort of psyched myself out for this, I hadn’t done Cobbler before and didn’t know what to expect. I did it at 100% and while it was challenging I didn’t have any problems and it actually felt pretty good.

It might have just been the pancakes though.

Cobbler now done. That was my first time doing Cobbler and I really loved it! The video, music and session were all perfectly synchronised for an amazing experience.

'Course, when I was done, being totally in the moment and unaware of the amount of holy water involved, I came very close to a catastrophic slip (in my own holy water!) that may have ended my tour early.

Glad it was only a near miss!!! Stay safe out there peeps, gotta get us all across that finish line on day 7

It’s not that bad… More tingly than hot…

Never done Cobbler before. Apparently I also have never done a back to back before. Today was the day. I had no idea Cobbler was 1:45 long until I was part into it and was that a shock! I feel like I might die at the end of this week, which means I am missing something! Do the get me through it plans drop the intensity automatically?

My apartment is hot as Hades, I nearly choked at the big line WELCOME TO HELL! I was like, I been it all day already and I can’t control the heat in here!

Grunter, this tour, looks so sadistic. I ended up like this after stage 1.20210213_195537|243x500

If you add the TOS plan (get me through it option) to your calendar, and select the ride from your calendar it will provide you with the reduced intensities as set by the coaches automatically. Pro-tip, download the day’s (or all the vids if you have the space) in advance and avoid any streaming issues.

Ah, good. Thank you! I thought I had done that in the calendar but it seemed much harder than it should have been. Just checked it and shows the reduced intensity, so I will have to chalk it up to the heat and subpar fitness :open_mouth: This week will be more of a challenge!

If it makes you feel better, we just watched the Suf/Wahoo guys do Stage 1 live. They were chewing stem before halfway too. Turns out it’s true…it never gets any easier, you just get faster!

Also, while the GMTI option reduces the intensity it’s still not a stroll through the park. Sounds like you’re doing it right.

Anytime buddy!

How’s the cat recovery? Like acupuncture with 19 needles instead of 1?
