Trainerroad outdoor workouts not syncing to Elemnt Roam v1

I have been unable to access Trainerraod outdoor workouts on my Elemnt Roam (v1) and am hoping someone has a good solution. Some background:

  • Wahoo Elemnt app kept telling me I needed to reauthorize Trainnerroad. These prompts continued despite reauthorizing.

  • Based on advice on the TR forum and TR support, I disconnected and reconnected Wahoo via the Activity Sync page on the TR website.

  • On my TR calendar, the next outdoor workout shows as being available on Wahoo. When I open the workout details and click “Push to Wahoo”, the icon changes to “Sent to Wahoo”.

  • When I select Planned Workouts in my Elemnt menu, the TR workout doesn’t show up. When I select “Sync”, the menu displays “Syncing Wahoo…”. I remember that it previously would say “Syncing Trainerroad” but does not do so any more.

  • Based on advice on TR forum and TR support, I attempted to connect my Elemnt to the Wahoo Fitness app (not the Wahoo Elemnt app). The app gives me an error saying “Your ELEMNT device is not yet supported in Wahoo App”.

  • I tried a factory reset of the Elemnt and re-tried all steps above (except authorizing via the Element app), with no success.

For the record: I solved the issue by logging out of my Wahoo account in the ELEMNT app and then logging in again.
