vEveresting attempt 23/4

If I wasn’t mostly lactose intolerant, I would totally use ice cream as my ride food. In fact, I might try it anyway. That’s what lactose pills are for, right? :upside_down_face:

Sounds brilliant and awful at the same time. Kind of like ending a Knighthood with The Cobbler…

What kind of gearing did you use on your bike for your attempt? I have a 53-39 on the front and a 30-12 on the back and I keep saying I need better climbing gears for a vEveresting, but as Sir @Glen.Coutts could tell you, I keep talking about it, but have yet to save up the money to buy better gears.

Frozen yogurt?

Hmm…pumpkin bike (Specialized Crux Expert) has a 50/34t front and 11-28t rear; new CX dream bike (Cannondale SuperSix EVO) has a 1x40t front and an 11-36 in the back. Will need to look up gear ratios, but close to a 1:1 makes me think either would work. For someday. Hypothetically. Maybe.

Lactose free milk? Or some plant milk?
Tried oat milk ice cream once, was delicious - super creamy. Then finally accepted that I’m rather intolerant of oats

Rather spoiled with the virtual gears on my KICKR Bike else I doubt I’d have got very far.
Setup with 50/34 front and 30 - 60 back so had plenty of options.

Ha! 34x60 - that’s like a backwards bike!

Didn’t use them all, but figured it was better to have and not need than the other way around
