253miles of fun

200 mile gravel grinder completed with a succesful ride from Leicester to York via the Humber Bridge 228km 142miles and back 178km 111miles next day.

Conditions were challenging due to rain, hail, sleet and string wind which was gusting 40mph over the bridge.

Great fun so now resting ready for the tour tomorrow. Not too shabby for being 65yrs old later this year. #knightsneverquit

The wind sounds terrible. Good job though. Way to taper for the TOS👍

Nice! I moved from Nottingham to York for university (many moons ago now…) and did that back and forth many many times. I never took your route though (nor did it on 2 wheels) !

Great work.
