So, what happens to existing Sufferfest users/customers? Not much info about thatā¦
You get ported over. Subscription and all. More stuff for same money
Every time I try to download the app from my email I am asked to log in and get a desktop site that doesnāt scroll, doesnāt have videos - just video descriptions etc. How do I get the actual app for windows?
So you download the new app, then login with original credentials?
An email of explanation would have been nice.
Also sufferfest.com now takes me to wahoo, for which I already had an account, but different email. This is confusingā¦
Great job to you and the team!! It looks fantastic, and with all the new workouts, my goal of badge collecting just got exponentially harder - A BIG thank you for that! Did the SUF classic, Thin Air this morning and canāt wait to check out the many other additions.
#SUFforlife #samepaindifferentname
I got an email this morning explaining this. Maybe in Spam?
Thereās a way to merge the accounts. Email the minions with that one. But technically yes you can log in with your original credentials. Iāll try dig up the instructions. The Wahoo team posted them here in the forum somewhere too but the volume of messages today is intense
I found the link in the email, but itās not working (invalid link says Safari)
From the SUF app, thereās a link to download the new app, but takes me to the forumā¦ I guess Iāll wait
Thanks @Sir_Brian_M that works, wish there was a link from the activity to play it again.
Log in to SYSTM using your Sufferfest account & password and youāre good to go
Sorry for the run-around. Here are the links you need:
Here you go: https://systm-download.wahoofitness.com/download/win
(If you can, please DM me the link youāre having trouble with and Iāll escalate to the right person.)
Iāve come across this request often, I will make sure to discuss it with the team - thanks for voicing your ideas!
Happy its OK for you No good on the old app for me.
Odd. What about on the new app?
So what happens to my wahoo account? Itās linked to product registrations etcā¦ it has a different email addressā¦
Donāt want to use it on a iPad or phone because of the afore mentioned hopeless mirroring on a big screen. It seems it no longer runs from a laptop.
I thought all day long yesterday what iām feeling.
The Sufferfest always attracted me like something special where you can meet yourself with your pain, soul and mind. Something special. Only the name tells me much and special people using SUF instead of TT or Z. But now after upgrading to SYSTM looks like a pop application like, i donāt know, app from Adidas, Reebok (with full respect of these brands) and etc., which using everybody across the world. Yes i know all of trainings the same like in SUF, but the feeling canāt disappearā¦ May be i need times, i donāt knowā¦
Regards.
Windows laptop? No issues on mine. Or Mac booked? Iād ping the Minions as that seems a bit odd. Or maybe uninstall and download and install a fresh copy?
@gpsjared any idea what is causing @Fatted1 's issues? Sounds like itās not running at all on his laptop
Account merges keep brilliant people with huge spreadsheets up late at night for precisely this type of case. For the time being, use your Wahoo account for registrations firmware updates & so forth and your SYSTM/Wahoo account for SYSTM stuff. Merging the two is on the development roadmap, but no dates locked in just yet.
I could be wrong, but @Fatted1 mentioned their laptop was a MacBook Air. Itās possible the laptopās OS can only update to something we donāt officially support. FWIW, SYSTM runs on my mid-2012 Macbook Air which has OSX Yosemite installed (10.10), which isnāt āofficially supportedā. The battery is pretty much cactus on the unit, but SYSTM runs on it alright.
I think I have foud the problem the email just links to the website not to the page for the OS and widows download, will try it at the weekend
Having messed around with the app a fair bit today. I really like the new layout, definitely looks more user friendly. I would like to echo the back button sentiment (I know that itās on the radar.) I definitely appreciate the future features in the pipeline and the app will only continue to get better. Also, I must say, I canāt think of any other app where the developers are actively commenting on a regular basis to keep their members happy as @gpsjared is doing.
In regards to the name change, itās understandable and expected, but the sentiment of Sufferfest is still there. The spirit of Sufferlandria is the community and I donāt see that going away despite some of the complaints.
