This is one of the reasons I don’t miss living on Long Island.
In the market now, there are many kinds of bike racks, such as roof mounts, hanging hitches, trunk mounts, etc. However, you need to choose a bike rack that really fits your car. A roof mount will require an installed crossbar. It is best to consider the vehicle’s roof height when mounting a cycle. Hanging and platform hitches will require a trailer hitch to be used.

There you go. No real space for a hitch rack. Had a driver who was fortunate enough to own a Porsche 911. Seasucker to the rescue.
