Am I missing something here?
When I started riding with the Bolt3 and want to load a new route or change my route while on my way - it is not possible!
Whenever I’m standing and try to get to the route menu, it isn’t there because of my pausing, the “…” screen button is replaced by the “Stop” button. Only after stopping completely the “…” is there again, but I don’t want to stop the recording of my activity, only select a route.
That was NO so with the previous Bolt devices.
I think that’s a quite common use case. I have dozens of routes on the Bolt but sometimes don’t know which one I want to follow before starting. So with Bolt 1 and 2, I just selected the route while on my way.
A second use case is when I’m traveling further away from home, I just want to check which previous created routes are near. But there is no searching for routes by distance, is there? This also was possible with Bolt 2, sorting after distance from current position.
Altogether, i find it extremely cumbersome to sort routes, e.g. A-Z or Z-A because it’s impossible to see in the menu which one is it. What are those 2 buttons for anyway? It’s “Umschalten” and “Wählen” in my German version, but I don’t get what “Wählen” (Select) does. Whenever I press it, it changes to “Date” instead of A-Z or whatever I selected before. And “Sortierreihenfolge” also doesn’t change anything at all. I would expect it changes A-Z to Z-A but it doesn’t.
It’s also a pity it’s not possible any more to change the map from current position. With Bolt 2, I could navigate N/S/W/E with buttons.
All that was much better with the Bolt 2. Who does something like that, remove several usefull features with a new (and more expensive!) version of a product???
