Climbing & Bike placement

Does anyone use a kickr climb/stack of books to train for a climbing Fodo?

I’m riding the stoneman dolomiti this summer and living in the pancake flat Netherlands it’s difficult to train for long steep climbs. I’m wondering if there is any benefit in placing the bike in a climbing angle

I just use a stack of books under the front wheel for specific climbing practice. I think it is worthwhile as the position on the bike changes quite a bit. I don’t do this for SUF videos though, only when taking on long alpine climbs on Zwift, Rouvy etc.
