Yep. Clobber. I havenât done this âClobberâ remaster of Cobbler and I most likely wonât until the weather changes but Iâve heard that itâs not half badâŚ.except for the fact that it is now road race (second tier China?) footage and not famous Cobble racing.

I was hoping it was just a typo and not another remaster, especially when the original was a personal fav and a bit of a classic.
Whatâs next? Blander?

No longer under active subscription. Occasionally visiting the forum to see how the app is doing, hoping to see some sort of positive progress.
Yet again, disappointed seeing Wahoo keep on ruining the platform.

This is not a remaster but a butcher. Some of the most fascinating cobblestone sections are replaced with footage that is close to the worldâs most boring. Maybe call it Slobber, as in you fall asleep on the trainer. Why, why why?

Iâm still undecided on this. Subscription is up and need to make a decision im the next two weeks. Going to do clobber today and some of the other new ones next week as weâre finally having some wet weather. Once I have more first hand experience of the remastered versions Iâll decide. Part of me wants to go down with the ship like you (blender and the chores remain untouched at least) but the other part of me doesnât want to fund the decline and Iâm cautious to take a yearâs subscription, for it to decline further and then be stuck with it.

Well, after doing the remastered Cash Register yesterday, things are definitely not in order. It doesnât resemble the Sufferfest Cash Register at all. Iâm disappointed, especially since this one was remastered well after the thread was started by those at Wahoo asking for our input to help the remastered videos to more closely resemble the Sufferfest videos. Iâm not sure where the break down is (I have my own opinion) but, IMHO, itâs clear that our suggestions were most definitely not used/considered when Cash Register was remastered.

This is my concern. There may be a couple of people in the company listening to us and trying to make things better, but I donât want keep paying for them to try and make good videos. If the quality of the product is declining Iâm inclined not to keep paying for it. Iâm just not onboard with the wahoo brand either and the whole wahooligan thing. Think Iâm going to use the free trials for other platforms over the next few weeks to weigh up the options and make a renewal decision based on that. Previously didnât even think about not renewing or moving to another platform but itâs a serious consideration now.

Just rode it for the first time. Have 18 lots of old Cobbler under my belt. Massive disappointment. Old vid - great storyline set on the world famous cobbles of Paris Roubaix with some of the most recognisable names from pro cycling. New vid - 2024 Tour of Guangxi with largely anonymous peloton slowly grinding down a 2-man break on circuits of flat-as-pancake 8-lane highwayđ. Dull as ditchwater. Plus theyâve messed about with the workout so the 2nd & 3rd efforts are considerably harderâŚ(a) the old workouts arenât comparable with the new & (b) the old version was a really useful workout that filled a good niche - tough but doable Z3/Z4 session that would be challenging to complete but wasnât going to blow your brain out, so why turn it into another ISLAGIATT or HHNF?!? If we canât have the exact same vid back then please please please get rid of this turgid version (paid promo by Province of Guangxi??) and reinstate the old targets.

One of the great sessions grinding out with Wout now in the bin.
In its place an absolutely paper thin remake.
Who would drive on through and put them selves through Hell watching 2 div pros riding down a Chinese dual carriageway.
Itâs an insult to the name sufferfest.

Spot on! The video is terrible. No plot. Boring race. Seems to me that they got paid by the Chinese to change the video. Cobbler was awesome. Clobber is trash.
