I just replaced my ELEMNT with the Roam 3 and can’t for the life of me determine how to customize the display to have the fields that I want shown and/or in the location of the screen that I want them. With the ELEMNT, that was accomplished the ELEMNT app. From what I have read, that app is not used with the new Roam 3.

I can’t find anywhere to do it on the Roam 3 itself, or on the Wahoo app (which, from what I understand has replaced the ELEMNT app). Please tell me it’s user error. It would be crazy if you can no longer have the fields you want displayed in the order you want them.

Lastly, I went on my first ride today and the data is nowhere to be found. Neither the Wahoo app or Strava have any record of it. Do I have to start the ride on my phone app now? With my old computer, simply starting the ride on the bike computer itself would do all that, although I did have to have the ELEMNT app running in the background (I did have the Wahoo app running in the background today & and had set it up to be Strava authorized).

Any help would be appreciated and my apologies if this is a really stupid question!

Hi Frank, this article will help you set up your data fields. As for the syncing that will go to the Wahoo app or if you have added Wifi it can sync in the background as well, if you’re not seeing it after you’ve been online for a minute it would be worth reaching out to our support team
