Roam 3 Data fields

I want to see the actual watt I am pushing at the moment , where do I find that option in the menues for datafields ?

And when the workout is finished I want to see :

Total distance, total time, average watt, average hrm, total ascent and average speed. Where in the menues can I find and define these datafields ?

Add power data fields. Probably want the power average over time (3 second or something) zone color field.

When you finish the ride, scroll down in the screen that pops up and you’ll see all of that and more. You cannot customize this screen. After that you’ll have to look at it in the Wahoo App on your phone.

  1. Open Wahoo App
  2. Top left, tap circle containing initials (for profile),tap
  3. Scroll down to ‘Workout Profile’, tap
  4. At top of page, tap ‘Cycling’
  5. On Cyling page, tap ‘workout pages’
  6. Tap ‘Workout data’
  7. Drag required fields in priority otder
  8. Avg Power is averaged over 3 sec

Having started a ride, on the Workout data page, the right side buttons zoom in/out data fields up to 9 max.

The closest you will get is the 3 sec avg power - with color zones. There is no instant power field to display.

You may get instant power (which is still a 1 sec avg power) on SYSTM or Zwift when you’re connected to your smart trainer, but not on your Wahoo bike computer. Wahoo assumes it’s not needed to see instant power while riding. It does record it tho, and you can see it post-ride.

Every time I am trying to drag and drop the data fields in the order I want them, they fall back in the order they were :winking_face_with_tongue: How come ?

Not sure, works for me on Android running Wahoo App. I wasn’t connected to Roam 3, it will update on Roam when Roam is powered.

Have you tried right arrow, you can change required field that way as an alternative to drag n drop.

Yes, tried that, but it didn`t work. So I have de delete all 11, and start from scratch again

Thx . Interesting that Wahoo assumes it is not of interest to see the instant ( or average i.e. last x seconds) watt during outdoor rides, only in indoor rides. Very strange and unfamiliar. And annoying.

No that’s wrong.

They absolutely do that, it’s the power average over time.

Pick the time frame you want. I use the 3 second one and it constantly updates to show my rolling 3 second average.

Ah, thank you :ok_hand:

Setting those up is definitely easier through the companion app. I’d also recommend using the 3-second power average field instead of instant power; it makes it much easier to pace yourself without the numbers jumping around too much.
