I have a new Wahoo Elemnt Roam 3. With the setup it pairs me with the Wahoo app and not de Elemnt app which I used for my previous Elemnt Roam v1. In the Wahoo app it seems that miss a lot of features for my Elemnt Roam. But when I open the Elemnt app I cannot pair the Elemnt Roam here as well because it asks to scan the QR code on my Roam, but for that I first have to unpair from the Wahoo app.
What is the right way?
The gen 3 computers are all using the Wahoo App. The others are still using the ELEMNT Companion App. At this time, you can’t use the WA for their older computers though, I think that is the plan at some point.
Okay, clear. But in the Wahoo app I miss the Live Track feature for example. Any solution for that?

Live Track should work in the WA and your R3.
If you go into the WA there is a global setting for it. Tap your profile icon (top left) then scroll down. There you’ll see Live Track and the options to set it up.
There are some differences to how it works but it’s basically the same.

Of course. I’m happy to help. Enjoy the R3!

My Wahoo bolt v2 activities appear to be syncing to Wahoo without the need to sync to the ELEMNT companion app. I’ve only recently noticed this. Has something changed?
Possibly. I don’t work for The Company though so I dunno.
Nothing has changed here, but once your workouts sync to the Wahoo cloud they will appear in the Wahoo App. There are a couple ways taht happens, ELEMNT to Companion app via Bluetooth then up to Wahoo cloud or ELEMNT to Cloud directly over Wifi.
