Gen 1 ELEMNT fix now live!

We have now released the fix for all first generation ELEMNT computers (ELEMNT, BOLT 1, and ROAM 1) via firmware update that should resolve the issue going forward*****. Thank you for your patience as we have worked to resolve this issue.

The updated firmware versions are as follows:

ELEMNT – WE/WF 53 - 17055
BOLT 1 – WB17 - 17055
ROAM 1 – WR24 - 17055

To receive the fix for future rides*, please update your firmware and power cycle the computer.

After installing the WE53-17055 update on my Elemnt all my pages are reset to defaults. But the Elemnt Companion app (v1.82.4 on iOS 18.6.2) still has my custom settings for pages. I just can’t get the app to push the pages to the Elemnt. I tried force quitting the app, restarting the Elemnt, un-pair and re-pair with again restarting the Elemnt and app. Nothing is working.

I have update my original Ekemnt to the WF-53 and I have reconnected my 4iiii power meter. The cadence part works but it won’t calibrate. Any suggestions?

Never mind I got it to calibrate by giving it some extra time and speed spinning the pedals before the calibration.

Great thanks. But one regression.

I went for the morning ride and battery was 1% - it no longer automatically powers off.

of course the battery always ran flat if I forgot to manually hit stop after a ride. Would be nice if that could be fixed too please :slight_smile:

Not just me is it on the no auto-shutdown, even when we press “end ride” ?
